# ARTIfact 21 Deeply Rooted

Deeply Rooted looks visualy like the opposite of ARTIfact 20, Growth.

But of course plants can only grow abudantly when being deeply rooted in the soil they belong to.

And in a sense that is true for human beings to. A sense of ‘belonging to’ a place, or a community, is good for our wellbeing, health and happiness.

I have tried to capture the warmth of belonging in this painting.

Deeply rooted

What do you think?

    • Maybe it is omnious to you because the thinner ends are downside and not up? Maybe that is it? Maybe it is less omnious if you look at it upside down?
To me it is a treestump with roots. New growth coming out of the stump.
